What is a Commercial Invoice for car exports?

A Commercial Invoice is a customs document that provides the details needed for import clearance: vehicle description, make, model, year, VIN/chassis number, transaction value (price), buyer and seller information, and terms of sale (FOB, CIF). Customs authorities at the destination use the Commercial Invoice to: verify the vehicle's value for duty assessment, confirm the transaction is legitimate, and calculate the applicable import duties and taxes. The Commercial Invoice is one of the core export documents that DriveSino provides with every shipment. It must match the information on the Bill of Lading and other shipping documents.
