What is RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) shipping?
RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) is a shipping method where wheeled cargo (cars, trucks, heavy equipment) is driven directly onto the vessel at the departure port and driven off at the destination. No cranes or containers are needed. RoRo is the most common method for importing cars from China because it's cost-effective, fast (faster loading/unloading than containers), and widely available on major routes from China to Africa, Middle East, and Europe. Most DriveSino shipments use RoRo for standard passenger vehicles. The main limitation is that your vehicle is exposed to the marine environment (though modern RoRo vessels protect cargo well). For high-value cars, container shipping is recommended.
